Our Philosophy
High Sierra Filtrations Inc. was founded to protect people as well as their home and the environment from the harmful effects of contaminated water. Research began over 15 years ago. Early on it was discovered that the water treatment industry had a few inherent problems; it was actually making the water worse for drinking by adding salt and removing beneficial minerals. Salt softeners and reverse osmosis systems were also wasting a tremendous amount of fresh water. For every gallon of water that passes through a reverse osmosis system for consumption, one to five are effectively flushed down the drain. Granted, there are situations where there is no other alternative than to use these tried technologies, however in the vast majority of cases there is a better way that produces cleaner water, without the waste.
